About TYA/USA

TYA/USA Promotes
“United We Serve”

On June 22, the First Lady launched a new National Service Project called United We Serve at www.serve.gov and TYA/USA has been invited to participate in this national conversation.

From June 22 to September 11, United We Serve will begin to engage Americans from coast to coast in addressing community needs.  Serve.gov  makes it easy to not only find volunteer opportunities in your communities, but also to create and promote your own service projects.

It is important for TYA/USA to join with this effort and make our presence known by showing our commitment to local and national communities.   You may list any and all volunteer opportunities you have here on the official site, but since the NEA and CNS wish to document this process over the next few months, you are also invited to submit your videos, photographs and experiences with Serve.gov as well.  They will select the images to share online.

Please also forward your service/volunteer opportunities, experiences and photographs to us at TYA/USA as we would like to highlight the efforts made in the name of United We Serve that are concerned exclusively with our members and communities.  Email us at info@tyausa.org.  We are ready to hear from you and participate together in this important national initiative.
