The Flint Hills International Children's Festival brings the best of the performing arts from around the world to downtown Saint Paul. Throughout the six days of this popular annual event, thousands of school children come to Saint Paul to not only watch amazing performances, but also to participate in hands on workshops conducted by amazing local artists.

This year’s festival will feature Theatre for Young Audiences productions from the United States and around the World, including:

          DO JUMP!“At Such a Dizzying Height…”

DO JUMP! introduces a world without space or time, in which paintings come to life with the stage as the canvas. This visually stunning work of aerial dance, circus arts, video, and live music draws inspiration from the paintings of Marc Chagall, taking the audience on a playful journey celebrating life, love, color, shape and spirit.

          Axis TheatreThe Number 14

The bus keeps on rolling! Six performers strut, swing, sing and talk their way in and out of adventures aboard Vancouver 's #14 bus in a theater piece that is certain to delight any audience. Full of recognizable characters and unforgettable moments, the Number 14 showcases physical comedy in a series of vignettes that seek to show a slice of urban life aboard a city bus.

Grupo 55Historias con Ruidito (Noisy Stories)

Having lunch in a park, going to the movies, or getting ready for bed are situations of daily life that generally pass us by unnoticed, but in Noisy Stories they become incredible adventures. Consisting of seven short stories without dialogue, Noisy Stories uses mime and physical comedy in a hilarious play in which music and sounds are what determine the rhythm and action.

          Vélo ThéâtreEnveloppes et Deballages (Envelopes

                   and Packages)

Pop! Bang! Packages under this postman’s care explode- carrying us to miniature, magical worlds hidden inside. Envelopes and packages will draw you into landscapes and imaginary places in a way you’ve never experienced before. Join our uncommon postman on his journey.
